    Dandruff Shampoo

Do the right thing: Neutrogena T-Gel. After a bottle, you'll get rid of this problem no doubt. Since the smell of the T-Gel is not the best in the world, I recommend using a regular shampoo after using the T-Gel in the shower and I think Dove is the best for this purpose. Yours, IlVangelo

Any recs for a Good Affordable haircut in NYC?

When in NY, I always hit Paul Mole and find their prices to be very good. Tip included, you'll spend no more than 30$ for the old barber shop experience. Very reliable cuts indeed. I have also tried out the Art of Shaving on Madison by the Roosevelt Hotel and they did a good job, though I'd go...

What 5 items must every stylish man have?

I'd say: 1- a classic timepiece that can be handed down to future generations 2- a comfortable, beautiful classic pair of shoes, kept well polished. 3- A very well cut suit. 4- A cologne that you are fond of, and that can be smelled only by the woman laying on your chest in bed. 5- A classic...

Dress Shirts for a Slim Guy

I would definetely recommend Ascot Chang. I not only think they are very slim cut, but are also very high quality, specially for the prices they ask. I have also had the problem with cut for a long time and Chang solved it entirely. I have also bought Zegna at their boutique and got slim fitting...

    Facial moisturizers

I normally get compliments on my skin from my dermatologist and I manage to keep it smooth, thin and with a fresh tone. I own a great part of that to Accutane, since I used it for 6 months when I was younger due to a big acne problem I had. It was a pain while I was on it, but boy, am I grateful...

    Armani complaints

Hi, I agree with almost everything said about Armani, though I have to say I have found one very nice Armani salesman at my local Emporio Armani (Rio de Janeiro), who had been serving me for years on end. Quality of suits of all lines are far below what their price range sugests and the same can...

    Black suits

Thanks for your input rayk. I still believe that a deep blue suit, when well cut, is better looking than a black suit. The same thing for a grey suit like the Campagna one that Pierce Brosnan wears in the beggining of "The Thomas Crown Affair". As for formal wear, a midnight blue tux...

    Black suits

I personaly have never understood why would people wear a black suit on a daily basis. It is not very elegant at all. I have various suits but no black one, and don't plan on acquiring one anytime soon. Then again, I am Italian and we don't normally wear black suits, so my upbringing might be...

    Favorite style magazines

Collezione Uomo, hands down. Esquire is probably the best American men's "fashion" magazine, though the coverage is limited as somebody pointed out. The british versions of GQ and Esquire are rather good, and probably better than their American counterparts. I really don't like L'Uomo...

    Shopping in nyc

Hi Steve, I would consider all of the brands you've mentioned, yes. The last three would be preferable to Canali, Zegna and Corneliani since I know for a fact they use canvas instead of fusing in all their suits. I am imagining you are refering to Gianluca Isaia when you mention Isaia, right ...

    Best tailored suits

I had a hard time to narrow the ten choices down to those. I have decided to include 5 Italian tailors and 5 Saville Row ones. I know that others like Battistoni, Borreli, Chester Barrie, Henry Poole, Castangia and D'Avenza would probably make the list, but I could not include all of them. Any...

    Shopping in nyc

Hi everybody. This is my first post here and I'd like if somebody could give me some tips on shopping in NYC, since I am gonna be there in the end of March. I am specifically looking into buying a new navy jacket and was wondering if there are any places where I can get a hold of something on...
