Too late sir, tuxedo is almost complete, but I don't regret it. I opted for the shawl simple because I like the look better, even if tradition dictates that peak is the most formal. Regarding side vents- I strongly dislike ventless jackets. Center vents I'm also not a big fan of, and they're discouraged for the dinner jacket. I didn't find a lot of resistance agaian side vents when I was deciding.- hitchedsoon

I don't remember the origin of the fabric, but the blacks offered to me at a reasonable price were in stock. When I asked for a midnight blue, I was shown a navy with the explanation that he doesn't stock a darker midnight navy appropriate for a tuxedo.
