No Man Walks Alone MTO and Pre-Orders Thread (Central Thread for All Projects)

Greg- The barleycorn appears suspended until further notice. What's the chance of this one coming back into live pre-order? It looks amazingly versatile. Thanks!

    Eidos Napoli

I received the Eidos/Kimber chocolate suede/canvas chukkas yesterday, and I really like them. The suede quality is very good- not super plush, but quite supple. The fit is spot on for me. I have a slightly wide foot with a mildly high instep- for reference, I ordered 9 UK in these, and I wear...

Ideas for Sartoria Formosa S/S'16 suits & sport coats

Greg- How would you compare the Caccioppoli classic PoW in gray and blue to the British Corner version you guys stocked over the past year or two? To me the SS 16 offering looks maybe a bit darker and has a bit of silk? Anything notable with regard to hand, drape, etc? Thanks!

٭٭٭ No Man Walks Alone - Official Affiliate Thread ٭٭٭ (a.k.a. I shouldn't have slept on it)

I would be very interested in this as well- dark gray, 8/9 or 9/10 oz worsted would work for me almost year round. Nailhead, sharkskin, or plain worsted would be great.

Anyone have the thick herringbone Eidos field jacket yet who could post a fit pic? I'm trying to get a sense for the pockets- they look welted with less volume online- which I think I rather prefer, particularly in this fabric. Thanks!

    Ring Jacket Japan

That last LP brown and charcoal tweed is amazing! Any more information on that fabric or ideas if it will be made up for RTW? Thanks.

Greg- Any further news on whether Inglese preorders are going to be a go this year? I have a feeling you guys could make a lot of 40/41 customers happy.

Other than the superb texture, that's the other thing I love about this fabric. My wardrobe tends toward the cooler end of the color spectrum, and the grey-lean of this brown in most light is unusual and oh-so-versatile for me.

Skoaktiebolaget – Enzo Bonafé, Saint Crispin’s, Löf & Tung

They're coming to North Carolina, 9 F on the 82. ;). I did not make any special request regarding the burnishing- this is the default Dark Oak.

    Best Mid-Level Suit?

I have no personal experience with SS. The BB 1818 line is obviously less expensive (~$1000-1200, less on sale) and is reasonably well made. These are generally half as opposed to full canvassed suits like Formosa/Mashburn/Ring. The wools are decent. Be careful in looking at the BB cuts-...

    Best Mid-Level Suit?

At about $1500, ring jacket from khakis of carmel or the armoury is a relatively modern cut, great RTW option. Sid Mashburn also has their houseline suits at that price point which are in the slim/modern category and are well made. For a bit more (~$1800 with sf discount), you can get a ready...
