US Army Fishtail Parka M-1951 OG-107

US Army Fishtail Parka M-1951 OG-107

Hi guys,

I just recieved this awesome fishtail parka, but I'm afraid it's a bit to small when the liner is attatched. TO BAD. The fit without liner is just fine, but I bought it as a winter jacket... I'm generally a size M/L, 42/52. I would say this fits a size medium fine (works from S-L without the liner).

Bought from a well known vintage dealer based in UK. The price is what I paid and in my opinion a very good price. I'm based in Sweden.

330 eur, shipping excluded.

"An amazing RARE original 1963 issue US Army M-1951 poplin cold weather Oxford OG-107 fishtail parka with Conmar zipper, frieze liner & M51 hood. Made in USA.

It is in superb condition with just a couple of minor marks and an area of light staining towards the rear hem around the fishtail. There is no damage what-so-ever, the zip runs fine and the snap buttons are all good. The liner is pristine and the hood is excellent. Please see all images.

The label reads Small. These parkas were traditionally worn over winter garments so measurements tend to come up big. Please be guided by the exterior measurements to ensure the desired fit.

Measurements in inches (not doubled) -

Pit to pit - 22 1/2
Nape of collar to hem - 40
Shoulder to shoulder - 19
Shoulder to cuff - 24 3/4
Pit to cuff - 20"
