These Brooks Brothers Tassel Loafers are the 1818 Footwear version made in Italy.
Also, the color is Burgundy, not Brown (the ad interface makes you pick a color, and Burgundy is not an option).
This is a really well-made shoe, and very comfortable to wear. If only they had a size that actually fit me, I wouldn't be selling them at all.
I would say these shoes fit more like a 10D than a 9.5D. They only come in a D width, and after I got them, I thought they were a bit long, so I went to my local BB store and tried on a pair of 9Ds. I found that the 9Ds were good length-wise, but they were too tight in the forefoot, so I kept these.
These are good width-wise for me, but as mentioned above are a bit too long. (I'm a 9.5E Brannock.) I thought that with heavier socks they'd be OK, but that hasn't turned out to be the case. (Several comments on the BB site suggest that they run a half a size large, and I'd have to agree.)
I've only worn this pair outside 3 or 4 times, and you can tell by the pictures that they're been well-cared-for; they've been stored on trees, in their dust bags, since I bought them. The Brooks Brothers branded dust bags and the original box (but no trees) will be included with purchase.
