The “Bison Sleek Hunter”, stacked on top of a Vibram Mini-Ripple sole. Stamped size 6.5.
A StyleForum GMTO exclusive, this makeup had 2 very small runs in 2014/2015. To those who’ve been on the forum for a while, I don’t need to tell you these are rare. Only a handful of pairs were completed due to the small amount of this particular bison leather Viberg had to work with at the time, but I also read that they mistakenly cut a bunch of it into service boot specs, making this scout model even more rare.

They are in very very good condition for the age of the boots (7 years) as they have been worn extremely sparingly. As you will notice, the tread on the soles is still sharp and there is next to no heel-drag. Unfortunately I’m coming to realize that the 2030 last is not for me, at least not in the standard E width. I’m more of a 1035er or a EE 2030 as I need a bit more room in the front.
The leather is incredible! It’s naturally very durable and will last you many resoles for sure if you can put it into your regular rotation. Don’t sleep on these, as you’ll never come across anything quite like them.
I’m open to trades in 6.5 as long as the last incorporates a wider forefoot. I would also consider something in size 7.
