For sale I have one simply amazing Ralph Lauren Purple Label peacoat in a size Medium (M). This stunning piece is styled as "Classic Melton", but instead of being a traditional rough Melton wool it is made from a combination of 90% wool and 10% cashmere. This fabric combination is both soft and hard wearing.

Really an ideal winter coat which would suit many different settings. As with most RLPL high-end pieces the attention to detail which went into the design make this a true grail piece - a coat one could conceivably own for ten years or more. The collar and lapels are of a wonderful proportion, while the canvassing gives the coat that shape which set it apart from cheaper alternatives.

Made in Italy by Caruso in a beautiful Olive color. The coat features a butterfly lining and fully lined sleeves. Please note that it is not traditional to have sleeve buttons on a peacoat, hence there are no such buttons included with this coat. But that also means it is very trivial to get the sleeves shortened by a competent alterations tailor, since one does not have to worry about button placement.

This would suit someone around a size 40R/40S, maybe even a 38R guy who would wear this over a sweater.

Full retail on this coat was $2,995
