Derby design, executed in a more substantial and weighty English style; Leather stacked heel with full-length leather sole + rubber outsole and storm welt.
Ferragamo Tramezza models feature the peerless construction quality of Hand-Welting, together with Salvatore's own original innovation of replacing the usual mid-sole with the "tramezza" [It. partition]. This comprises many layers of leather stuck together to form a singular thick but flexible mass with unmatched cushioning. On wearing, the pressure & body-heat results in exceptional molding to the wearers foot while still preserving the sculpted outer shape of the shoe. Please be aware that Ferragamo's proprietary sizing is *extremely* large and more closely tracks to UK sizes (despite everything that is published and stated by the company, which has for many years and bizarrely continues to insist claiming they follow US sizing numbers).
As such US buyers should as a rule take a full size down in Ferragamo from their usual US Standard Size; i.e. these would be more suitable for a US7 to 7.5.
* Rare 6EEE Size * - Not only is size 6 sparsely found, but the Extra-Wide EEE width designation is not made available at all within the US market.
