Some years ago, I was involved in developing the international last with Hiro Yanagimachi.
I purchased the perfect cap toe:
Handwelted, handstitched outsole and leather toe puff. Skin stitched facings. Deep, dark brown aniline tanned leather from Annonay.
They've been loved and cared for, but over the years I've gained little weight and haven't used them for two years. They're in very good condition. Soles have not been resoled, and have not become soft yet.
Bought in Japan, the price for these would be north of 300 000 yen with trees. On a trunk show in Europe/US, around 2500 euro.
Buy them now for 1200 euro. I'll cover shipping.
