These are brand-new in box, only tried over the carpet at home. I bought these about a year ago from Skoak for $350+. However, this is not my style as I usually wear formals and business casuals. These are amazing country boots and comparable to Crockett and Jones islay and Alfred Sargent Hannover. The quality is definitely better than Allen Edmonds and Meermin. The color is a rich dark brown, which is very versatile.
