This is a special pair of Higgins Mill boots for a few reasons. First, it initially came with a red Dainite sole, but I had it resoled with black Dainite by Wyatt and Dad Cobbler (check out their Instagram). I also had them add a metal shank. This gives the boot better support, but it does set off metal detectors. The second reason this is a special boot is because of the quality of the creasing. I have a bit of history with Higgins Mill boots and have bought and returned over a dozen pairs of them. This particular boot has some of the most aesthetic creasing I’ve seen in this model. Both shoes also have terrific welt joints. Please note that the color is slightly lighter than it appears in some of the photos. The first 2 photos are the most accurate representation.
The boots were worn about 15-20 times for one season before being resoled. Since the resole they have not been worn out of the house. So the new sole is basically new.
