I bought these NSTs in really poor condition.

Dan Frappier gave them a full treatment. Leather re-dyed, new footbeds, double JR soles, toe taps, cat paw heels, grommets, and French bindings.

Whats the vibe of NST vs longwings? Do they feel more dress or casual? I have been looking for a pair in black specifically as potential alternative to longwings in black. Haven’t decided yet either way.

Just bought the MacGregor 6770. I don't even need to show you a picture of that 7-eyelet beauty do I? But I will once I get them in and cleaned up.
You know the rules. Pics or it didn't happen.

My personal opinion is that NST is very casual looking. Have I worn them with suits? Absolutely.

My understanding is that LWBs were originally casual but I think they're accepted as dress shoes now. At least I consider them dressy.

I also have a pair of NSTs in brown, which makes them perfect pairings for denim and khakis.

These belonged to Herbert Butler who custom ordered these from Mr. Florsheim. Herbie has many pairs of custom made shoes floating amongst enthusiasts.

Corey Hiltz added toe taps, sole protectors, and grommets.

I'm starting a 3 day course (yep, during Mothers Day weekend) so gotta dress to impress.

Wishing you all a great day and weekend ahead.

Is anyone here familiar with old Bostonian styles and logos? I just got my hands on a NOS pair that seems pretty old, and I'm having trouble finding this particular logo anywhere online.

Edit: Apparently, this logo is from the 70's, I managed to find the logo in an eBay listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/256147687271

I have a cycling sweater that I’d like professionally repaired. (Moth damage). I searched on SF but didn’t find much. Would you have a recommendation for a business that does that repair? Thank you.

Where are you? I can recommend local re-weavers in Menlo Park, CA.
