Hi,

I am looking for advice on the fit of this new oxford I bought from Proper Cloth. It doesn’t look right and feels tight in the chest. I know the collar is too small and will request a 1 inch increase there. But I don’t know what needs to change in the yoke width and chest.

Any advice on the fit is appreciated, I am inexperienced in this area.

Thanks!

Balance cut too stooping, needs to be more erect. Shorten back and lengthen front

Shoulders not sloping enough, and appear a touch wide.

Move side seam on chest backwards around 1cm to move cloth from back to front.

Back darts would help

Lower collar stand.

You can't do it on existing shirt. It's basically making a collar that isn't too high up your neck. With sloping shoulders I understand the logic, but optically a bit shorter would work better imho
