That said, Batman is not a superhero... to be a superhero, you have to be superhuman - thus entailing the ability of some superpower. Name a superpower he has... none... all he has is rich-boy toys. He is merely a vigilante. If you say batman is your favorite superhero, then I'd say James Bond is my favorite superhero.

Bruce Waynes superpower is his superior intellect. Just because he cant fly or charge playing cards to explode on impact it doesnt mean that hes not super.

Another vote for Batman.

And to say he's not a superhero is kind of ridiculous. He's one of the oldest and most definitive superheroes. I suppose you could argue that originally he was closer to pulp heroes than superheroes but once you get a Justice League membership, you're definitely a superhero.

My favorite Batman moment: the beginning of the Grant Morrison run of JLA where a team of superpeople, each as strong as Superman, invades the Earth, defeats and cages the Justice League. Batman takes them apart one by one.

A close runner up: when we learn that Batman has specific plan for defeating and/or killing every other member of the Justice League in the event that they turn evil.

The underlying message: Batman is the scariest guy in the room. No matter what room he's in.
