Hey Folks,
Welp I got a job with the local transit authority, so my daily work wear is a uniform, although I did opt for a regular tie, instead of (shudder) clip on...UGH...
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT...I have this question about shoes.
Its a Friday or Saturday Night.
Your dressing up, as your going to the Symphony, or the Opera, or the Ballet, (someone tell me if Musicals are in this group too)
Anyway, You decide on a black ? or Navy Blue Suit?
French Cuffed Shirt, with cuff links.
An appropriate tie...
and I am pondering what is the most appropriate SHOE to wear. I mean, I'm not going in a Tux, no bow-tie, so patent leather doesn't seem to fit in my mind.
But what about?
Option 1:
http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/product-info.php?&shoeid=7993&colourid=4304&brandid=5 (balmoral toe-cap black)
Option 2:
http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/produ...&catid=56&oldcolid=4306&stype=0&colourid=4305 (partial brogue toe-cap black - balmoral)
Option 3:
http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/product-info.php?&brandid=5&shoeid=4152 (full wingtip brogue black - balmoral)
Option 4:
http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/produ...&catid=56&oldcolid=2950&stype=0&colourid=1079 plain jane - black - Blucher)
Option 5:
http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/produ...&catid=56&oldcolid=1079&stype=0&colourid=2950 plain jane - brown - Blucher)
Option 6:
http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/product-info.php?&brandid=5&shoeid=2023 (brown toe cap - balmoral)
Option 7:
http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/product-info.php?&brandid=5&shoeid=2037 (brown/cognac wingtip brogue - Balmoral)
Option 8:
http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/product-info.php?&brandid=5&shoeid=4376 (cognac minimal brogue - balmoral)
There's the 8 choices.
By the way in case your confused about the difference between Blucher, and Balmoral, its in the way the shoe closes over the bridge of your foot. Balmoral will come together, tightly, and look like a V shape, the Blucher, will be further apart, more parallel lines.
So lets see what you all choose for a night out
