I think they look great. I wear them in brown, burgundy, and suede with denim. I think of these as "country" shoes.

I don't own a pair in black. How do you feel about black wingtiips and denim? Do they scream American businessman too much to wear with jeans?

I'd say your pushing it with those... More brogue is more casual. Less brogue is more formal. It might look ok but I'd say there a little bit too formal for jeans.

I've seen it work with both and with stacking.
