Don't have one on me right now to measure but the last time I checked I believe they're 2.5 inches, maybe 2.75. They can vary though.

ONLY when you order through an SA you know personally at a store. You cannot call up the Brooks Brothers number that appears online and just ask for free shipping.

You can also just call a specific store and order through a SA. I don't know the SAs at the NYC stores personally and I've always gotten free shipping when I call and order through them.
