Such thoughts are indespensable to the banality I live amidst every day.

Lately, every three days I switch between winter and spring, then back again.

I just follow the weather forecast and try to dress comfortably first, fashionably second.

Has it been hot there? I am traveling to your town for a conference in two weeks. Are we talking seersucker and panama hat warm or what?

Being in Las Vegas, our winters are equal to most summers. We're already in the 70's. Another month and we'll be in the 80's. Before we know it, it'll be 115 outside and 180 in the car.

when the weather is consistently in the 60s, I change up to spring.

That sounds right. I can't wait for that to occur.

Funny, I was just being laughed at by my co-workers after telling them that as soon as it hits 60 I'm bringing out the pink pants.

I'm starting the switch, moving away from earth tones, at least on sunny days. I think I jumped the gun today, though. I'm wearing tan shoes, heavy weight white cotton pants, a ribbon belt, pink gingham shirt, and light grey cashmere jacket. It seemed fine this morning when it was sunny. Now it's getting darker and going to rain. oops.

Damned if I can figure out the weather these days, but I try to dress for comfort. I wore a long sleeve tee and a lightweight wool sweater this morning (it was sunny) but added another layer once the rain began.

As for colors, I start wearing the brighter colors on sunny days in the early spring, even if it is still a bit cold. By mid-March, I've really had it with winter clothing.

I like your intentions, tho.
