Stephen Stills & Manassas, Manassas. I think it's one of the best albums of the 1970's. No one fused blues, country, soul, Caribbean like Stills.

Weird coincidence of postings: Miles Davis played on a Scritti Politti song on their album Provision and did a cover of one of their songs on his own album. Can't remember which song in either case.

This may get laughed at but I'll share it. I've been listening to a bluegrass band called Crooked Still. Well, I only like two of their songs. One is a cover of Dylan's Lone Pilgrim.

If anyone remembers GUN (helps if youre Scottish), a genuine rock band that could actually SING. The lead guy has one of the deepest to highest vocal ranges I know Word Up (the rock bit)
