I used to love Sheet 1 and Musik but then I heard the Analord series and the two Last Step records + other things in that vein that's pushing the limits of the genre. Going back to hear those Plastikman records after that is like "damn there's not anything going on in these tracks, ugh." I don't think his Plastikman project aged very well at all.

No no, way different. Can't compare RDJ with Plastikman. The similarities end at electronics. You wouldn't compare Sonic Youth and Ryan Adams just because they both use guitars. You either get the techno thing or you don't.
