Adult Escort.

What I wear is completely dependent on my clients' preferences, which are determined by their product selection:

1) The Boyfriend Experience - Client selects a complete outfit with matching accessories depending on the activity planned (mini golf, fondu, 24, 36 or 48 hour romance package, etc).

2) Theme Date - Client selects from a menu of costumes:

  1. Police officer - For this date I usually wear a uniform, aviators, patent leather boots, glock replica, handcuffs and nightstick/billy club.
  2. Fireman - I will meet client clad only in a flame marsupialant suit, boots, face mask, helmet, and whippet-filled oxygen tank.
  3. Daddy Issues - Many women have severe issues with their father. This date includes me cooking dinner wearing a sweater vest, OCBD, slacks and velvet slippers. We drink wine, eat a deftly-prepared meal and I tell them how pretty and smart they are at a 3x/minute interval.
  4. Mr. Fixit - I wear a tool belt, work boots, tight 514 jeans and conduct minor home repairs.

I'm in the banking industry so it's necessary to wear suits especially in meeting prospective clients and dealing with colleagues in the industry.

I work in finance in The Netherlands but my work environment isn't city-like formal. Suits with tie optional during the week where the tie is only obligatory when meeting with clients. Fridays are a free-for-all with people wearing anything from jeans and pullovers to suits and ties.

I usually walk around in trousers, shirt, tie during the week and trousers and sportscoat with tie optional on Fridays.

And to sum up the other half, disgustingly wealthy, yet out of touch with reality as they have never worked for a thing in their lives.

And, then, of course, you have the hey broz lemme know what dress pants I should choose, pls. Thx.

Haven't been around long enough to discern the consumption patterns of the 1%, but with multiple pairs of $1k+ shoes, they've got to be astonishing.

Voxsartoria's wardrobe is easily half a million *at least*. There is no system of moral philosophy (or simple common sense) under which this isn't utterly ridiculous. :fu:

Styleforum is terrible for me. Over the last 3-4 years I went from getting into premium denim (mostly the Japanese stuff) into getting into the habit of buying 3 pairs of shoes in a month. :embar:

It's bad. Within the last month I bought 2 pairs of Aldens in shell cordovan and a pair of Edward Greens - not to mention 4 pairs of socks, 4 pocket squares, and a tie.

I'm a 21 year old business student/marketing professional and I don't really have a dress code. I like to think that when I'm at school in Boston that people are more "dressy" but that could in part due to the cooler weather come fall and winter. Having worked for a stodgy Fortune 5 company I have had to deal with a more professional dress code - but working in the silicon valley has shown me that even a rainbow headband and birkenstocks are acceptable at work. I usually dgaf and just 'dress up' anyway.

The wardrobe has definitely evolved to have higher quality pieces, focused on fit and finish. Footwear has obviously become my favorite part..

I am a professional butt double for film and cable television.

Well you're just the typical SF user. Take pictures of yourself posing restrooms and similar.

work in an office building. in the jewelry business. i could get away with dressing more casual, but i prefer to step it up a tad.

re: the typical SFer. honestly, i think you are all off base. the membership is very varied, and i dont think there is a real standard. the types you mention may be more vocal, or memorable. but the true demographic is very wide imo.

Which I should clarify, I have no problem with. I have aspirations to one day spend gigantic money on clothing (now it's only slightly ridiculous).... my point, those who earn what they own and appreciate that stock are OK in my book regardless of how much they spend or have. It's the turbo douches that act as if non bespoke or sub 2k shoes are a waste of time.
