Japanese day, huh?

BTW, you don't mess around with your jeans. Hollywood Ranch Market? How many people even know that brand? It's been a few years since I've even seen their stuff in stores (think it was in the AB Fits North Beach location) much less on someone. First run Rogans, Diors, R45RPMs, APCs, and now HRM? How wide a selection of denim styles and brands do you have man?

Purple jeans are cool, you just can't have a bad day in purple pants. There's nothing worse than being in a bad mood whilst wearing jolly purple pants!.

Hahaha, same goes for me I love cars and clothes, but both are unfortunately expensive hobbies (racing breaks parts on my car/im addicted to new clothes) Now If I only had a highpaying job I could have a wardrobe at least a quarter as good as some of you guys

I really haven't been feeling my black/white Adidas recently. I've been debating what black/white sneakers I should replace them with. There's always black Chucks or Purcells, of course. Sk8-his? Vans are the most comfy shoes ever. I dunno. Suggestions?

Rye is my man, though I don't dress like him. You have the same frame of mind as me when you say you like to wear the clothes with a different intent/context in mind. You need to up your footwear game man. I know you like pairing the branquinho jacket with some beat chucks (and **** like that) but come on homay!

I know?. I have approximately 90 pairs of sneakers. Mostly Nikes from my NYC days, Supremes, Heinekens etc........I still love those shoes and would never turn my back on a good looking Dunk but they don't fit my mood right now. Shoes are a difficult purchase for me, all of Get Smarts PS shoes look great but when I try them on or similar styles I don't feel comfortable..just awkward!. For me it's about finding the right toe that's not too narrow nor garishly wide..I haven't found that shoe. JET! help!.

I know man it's really hard. There are millions of shoes out there and so hard to find ones that are on hit like jeans, shirts, jackets. I love the suede paul smith boots but I can't see myself really rockin them til I'm a little more sophisticated. I have 3 pairs of sick gucci loafers from a couple years ago that aren't flashy, branded, or identifiable by any means. Too bad all their **** is garbage now, I'll post pics when I get a cam.

I think you need some ill boots to match the persona of the rest of your **** since you don't look like a laceup kind of guy. It's hard I know, I love the sneaks too. My favs are the common projects but I've been eyeing these limited all creme white suede puma clydes (they don't have this one on classickicks.com but they have others ie red/black) and adidas oddities like these 'n **** just as a change from the vans and chucks seen on every corner like the official shoe of Socal man. I also rock all black orions that look like y3s (55 bux) that everyone asks me about.

I am like Rye with regard to footwear.

I actually have several pairs of boots that I know look good (in the mirror, anyway) but I never really feel comfortable in snything but sneakers. Vans slipons and Chucks are my go to footwear, and I think that I have about a dozen different pairs of hitop chucks in different materials and colors. Sometimes, I'll pull out a pair of Natases or Allrounds, or a pair of Blazers for looser jeans and Italias and the occasionl Sk8-Hi for slimmer jeans, but ultimately, I always go back to either Chuck high tops or Vans slipons. And always light colored, (or rather, discolored) footwear. Don't know what it is. My feet are not small (11US) especially for my height (5'11"). But if I wear anything dark on my feet, excepting black with white classic chucks, I feel wierd.

I guess that there is one exception. I will occasionally, and very, very occasionally, wear a pair of Clark classic desert boots in the original waxed leather.
