I just realized Cutty Sark is pretty bad for on the rocks or straight drinking.

I'm drinking coffee and water. Not from the same cup.

I believe that's italian, right? But what does it mean?

No more grappa, no more beer, but I found half a fifth of Maker's Mark in the bar. It's even more saccharine than I remember. Oh well.

Amazing beer, I still prefer the Younger by a hair, but I wouldn't turn down either.

Oh the Younger is way better, but so much harder to get. My plan is to drive up to Sonoma next February and camp out by the brew-pub.

Don't they do mailing or anything? You shouldn't need to camp out. My pops and I had dinner there in October and they were selling 6-packs like it was no big deal.

They might; I've never been motivated enough to find out since beer is easier to get than wine. There are a few places in SF that sell it, but if I get it, I'll want to suckle from the tap.

I'm a big fan of the Russian River Damnation, but haven't tried either of the Pliny's. Will keep an eye out.

I really can't stand craft beer for the most part, but I think you'll enjoy The Elder. It's pretty much what made Russian River what it is. No, it absolutely made RRBP what it is. I mean they invented the style of the double IPA.
