Will list the airports I've been on or will go through during my vacation that's winding down.

Dulles (Virginia, USA)
Frankfurt Intl (Frankfurt, Germany)
Flughaven Zurich (Zurich, Switzerland)
Frankfurt Intl
Murtala Mohammed Intl' (Lagos, NIgeria)
Murtala Mohammed 2 (Seriously) (Lagos)
Akanu Ibiam Intl (Enugu, Nigeria) Hilariously this used to be a domestic only airport and it's being converted to international by essentially tearing down sections and gutting the rest. So the airport terminal is basically bare walls, dirt floors, no windows. Meanwhile they're still handling flights. For now baggage claim is on a cart near a mound of dirt near the tarmac. Double hilariously on my way out back to the U.S. get to the airport with all my luggage, arrive at the airport to learn my airline is on strike (past four days apparently though management never bothered to inform anyone), have to drop $300 on the spot (well first I had to find a money changer at some nearby contruction site to convert it to Naira) for a business class ticket the next day. Woooooooo! #exoticvacationproblems
Murtala Mohammed 2
Murtala Mohammed Intl'
George Bush Intl (Texas, USA)
Reagan National (DC, USA)

Yeah, I have some family there so it's a yearly trip for me. Fortunately my friend in Zurich suggested I party with him for a few nights on my way. Worked out wonderfully.

Just for the record Lagos Intl (Murtala Mohammed INtl) is a god awful airport. I nearly had a meltdown a few times when going through security and immigration. Then on my 13 hour flight to Houston I ******* realize (actually remember since they charged me during the same flight last year) that United charges for booze on transatlantic flights :)fu:).

Highlights of the trip out of the country are I have some amusing stories to tell (like my 7 hour wait for my flight to back to Lagos in Enugu airport - mind you this is in the gutted airport that's somehow still taking flights), I successfully got a $1000+ bottle of wine back to the US for appraisal and hopefully selling it (unfortunately at 50 years old it's probably ruined given it's shady storage), and some kick ass wood carvings I bought for cheap underneath a bridge.
