+1, I see no reason to handwash white jeans. They are jeans. The only reason I'd consider handwashing jeans would be if I wanted to preserve the darkness, and ... they are white, so...

I like to use something with "Oxy" in the name - OxyClean, Oxyaction, etc.

Maybe soak overnight if you like them blinding white.

- should I use bleach?
- should I turn them inside out?
- why soaking them overnight makes them blinding white?

Washed my somets in woolite awhile back and they lost the bright crispy whiteness. I'm wondering if it has to do with the water or possible buildup in the washing machine. I'll have to run a cycle of bleach water in there and get something with some oxy in it ha.

You sure you didn't throw them in the washer with your neon green sports jacket and white penny loafers?
