If DHL is going to charge you customs fees, they'll send you a bill for it later, within a few weeks from now. They don't do COD the way UPS does for those kinds of fees.

That's strange. They do in Canada.

Just an update, I know I told you that the dainite sole looked black but it's indeed dark brown. So Tricker's do their jobs as specified, my mistake.

Btw, good to know. Like I said, it can be hard to tell the difference sometimes.

is there a thread for that order?

No, there's none, I contacted several folks that expressed interest, the reason is that I was told that the leather that we wanted was in limited supply. I'm sure they can accommodate any request now. The leather we chose was Navy blue crust leather.

Yea, Robin is right...I saw the navy crust leather at the recent D.C. Alfred Sargent trunk show and it was a nice deep navy; I was told AS gives that leather a really nice finish/burnishing and that it will rapidly patina into a unique hue. Really looking forward to the shoes arriving. Will definitely post when they arrive.

Also, Richard is getting married the 29th so he may be a bit distracted if the September order does show up early.

Any slots open for the Eatons?

I normally wear a UK11 in C&J. Would I normally have to size down half a size?
