Hong Kong and Shanghai seemed totally different to me. I mean, the difference between HKers and mainland Chinese is like night and day. One visit seems like enough for Shanghai, but I would go back to HK in a second, wouldn't even mind living there for a little while if I had the opportunity.

I live in Sydney and will never come back unless my mother wanted me to visit.

Oh and LA, Las Vegas, Houston, never again.

Yeah, Shanghai and HK are two different worlds. I feel the opposite of you though. I'm in Shanghai again for probably the 15-20th time in the past couple years and plan on continuing to come back regularly. On the other hand, I have no real desire to go back to HK. I did have a good time when I was there, but there isn't really anything else I have a desire to see.

Since it's that time of year again, I'll say that I have no desire to ever go back to Pamplona, especially during San Fermin.

I have never heard anybody dislike Sydney........

Do you have any "big metro cities" that you like at all?

India and Bangladesh. I will never set foot into these two countries again for as long as I live.

I like Indian food, so that may be the only thing that motivates me to go visit there. According to Tripadvisor, they also have one of the best hotel in the world as well......

Cairns - the barrier reef is dead, the locals are rednecks and the weather is way too hot and humid

The Gold Coast - more land whales than good tail, way too many land whales in bikinis

The Blue Mountains - why exactly is this place ever touted as a destination? To this day I still have no clue.

Hiroshima - less exciting than Tokyo, worse food than Osaka, Kyoto has the lion's share of historical sights, snaggle-toothed broads

Xi-an - saw the terracotta warriors, had no idea that was all there was to see in this dead town. Spent nights there holed up in my hotel room alternated with praying that the food I was eating was not actually made from rat meat and that the utensils were cleaned by more than cold tap water.

Beijing- dirty ass city with police on every corner, way too many tourists wearing stupid caps, Olympic venues were overrated, Forbidden city was swamped

Tianjin- like Beijing, only dirtier.

Hong Kong - aside from shopping, not much else to this soulless city besides eat

Guangzhou - like Hong Kong, except dirtier and more likely to get shanked
