1. light blue and white gingham check (fine pattern)
2. medium blue and white gingham check (medium pattern)
3. light blue and white herringbine (fine pattern)
4. white (damn those funerals)

How about top 4 shirts to wear with a white labcoat? I feel like a white shirt under a white labcoat looks a bit silly.

I'd go for the light blue shirt: enough contrast from the white coat, but not too much of a contrast.
