I say this only in Jest...

Please don't ask the Shoe Fairy anymore about how many shoes he has

Back in 2006 the answer was about 160...but its balooned since then

He even once threatened to go bespoke but the latest damage proves otherwise

Asking the Shoe Fairy about how many shoes does he own is like asking Wilt Chamberlaim, how many girls did you screw?

The answer to both is obviously....MANY

Gotta say I am a big fan of plaintoe bals. The Peering is super.

Those Herends remind me of the EG for Asprey Acorn brogues, but with a squarer toe. Awesome.

Thanks for all the kind words fellas. Dope...Your use of Peering as a formal shoe was my inspiration for their purchase, the shoe fairy owes you one. B...You consistently raise the bar! I think you'll dig the Vass order that's in the pipeline.

My god, those monkstraps with the medallion are gorgeous. Wouldn't you usually see a double strap with that monkstrap design?

A--

The GC bespoke Russian reindeer are due in the Fall and the oxblood galosh in the beginning of 2009.

Thanks! These are based on the EG Oundle which I believe were based on the JL Jermyn II, ll of which are single buckle. I have much love for the double buckle, too.

Having a fairy in your debt is no mean thing.

Know that I value your obligation and shall not squander it on frivolous things. I will only call on you in an hour of true need.

I have an order from Vass in the pipeline as well...including a real mittleuropa shitkicker of a shoe.

July-ish delivery.

That Theresianer sounds suitably insane.

You still haven't answered the question about the number of shoes you own.

I really wonder if any of these ever get worn.

Wow! These two are on my Vass wishlist as well. They will come out beautifully.

I am thinking of ordering a bordeaux cordovan chukka boot soon.
