He doesn't have the time or money. Seattle trip would only be for a week whereas Thailand is 20 days.

iknowrite. I'm about to sign my life away for the next 3-4 years so this is likely the last chance I'll have to go on an extended vacation. Screw Seattle.

i agree with the notion you should talk it over with your friend. he will most likely understand if he is a good buddy. i dont think this makes you a bad friend as long as you are up front and honest with him. plans fall through all the time. its the lack of communication that pushes it into douchbag territory.

Salons. I recently learned someone I know spearheads one. Basically, a changing topic/themed supper club with...and I ******* quote..."contributions from chefs, artists, political activists, artists, farmers, entrepreneurs and more". --I.E. absinthe tastings while people take turns reading from Baudlelaird to live jazz piano. The level of anger this conjures in me feels unhealthy.

The waterproofing they applied to our building months ago didn't work, and now there is water on our bedroom floor, seeping through the parquet floor and from the walls. I've been mopping it up since yesterday evening.

Also, our cat peed on my Porter bag, and my moleskine notebook (it was in the bag).
