In terms of their suits, they do have one big advantage; the cuts are fantastic for a RTW brand. But might be cheaper to fly to London for bespoke at Huntsman vs. paying regular price for TF.

If it wasn't clear, I'm definitely a TF fan. I'm probably a bit too fat for his RTW brand anyway, so I do generally prefer mainline Zegna.

Anecdotally, as a seller, it cracks me up sometimes. I sold a solid black TF suit for $700 in under 48 hours. I have Zegna suits in nicer fabric / patterns that I'm lucky to get $200 for.

I think heartland outlet stock mandate has to be 3 or more years of old stock not selling at their other retail stores.

It is basically a recycling bin of HR unwanted ****!!

Makes total sense to be 50-80%

Been out of the loop with Harry Rosen for a while and stumbled across their Insider/Platinum/Diamond customer tier list.

Anyone know just exactly what 'annual gift' Harry Rosen offers to their platinum and above members as well as what 'special events' they were invited to? Were they perhaps early access to trunk events for new releases, etc.?

The gift is store credit that expires within a short window. As a platinum member, they gave me $100.

I bought a pair of cashmere socks with it. Presumably, Diamond members get a higher dollar amount.

Does anyone know of any good consignment options in Toronto or Canada, physical store or eBay? I have a bunch of suits, sport coats, and odds and ends (shoes, ties, pocket squares) that I don't really use anymore but don't really feel like going through the hassle of listing everything, shipping, etc.

Although not local, I’ve used Luxeswap multiple times. Been happy with the results.

I've had good luck with the Toronto For Sale thread. A little easier to throw odds and ends into one post.

Garb and I Miss You Man at Ossington / Queen st in the West End downtown are the best consignment stores for men that i know of now that Lee shut down 'Off the Cuff'.

Both have decent websites too but not all of the inventory is 100% up to date.

There is plenty of Kiton, TF, BC etc. at each right now.

Looking to alter an old Suitsupply suit. Needs the sleeves shortened and waist taken in a tiny bit.
I live in Mississauga. Any suggestions?
I don’t want to trek all the way to Yorkville for their Toronto location.

Hopefully. Usually CAD is cheaper and I didn’t need to pay foreign exchange fee.

Back to CAD now for me. I suspect somehow yesterday the website was not detecting the location of the customer.
