Found a pair of black 9.5 Pierre Cardin shoes. Don't know if they have any worth, but I have never seen a "Made in Greece" pair of shoes, so I got 'em.

ditched work a little early yesterday and headed out to Sawgrass Mills mall. Hit up Bloomingdales Outlet, Last Call, etc.

Walked away with three beautiful Isaia, Brioni, and Stefano Ricci ties ($150 total), a Canali Kei sc and a Corneliani sc ($400 for both).

Little bummed though. They had a couple Canali suits there not in my size that would have been something like $300 for mainline.

While this is true, the trousers tend to wear out before the jackets, you can usually tell if the jacket's trousers could have possibly been worn out. If the jacket is in mint condition and looks to have only been worn a few times, then odds are against this theory. However, I've come across a lot of orphaned jackets that have been dry-cleaned to death, have wear on the lining and loose stitching that shows it's been worn quite a bit. Determining this would be up to the finder's discretion, obviously.

Couple of nice finds on a quick run this a.m: Brooks Bros light blue/white gingham check buttondown, and a green/tan Brooks Bros foulard tie made of wool and silk, a first for me (all my other BBs are silk only).

Came close today. Found a Zegna suit, sportcoat and Brooks Brothers tuxedo jacket but all had stains or were in not great shape.

Found an autographed Webb Pierce LP though. Trying to determine if it's actually authentic.

Pretty sure I saw the Brooks tux today, although IIRC it was the full tux. Shawl lapels, older label with the label near the collar.

That Webb Pierce LP would be a cool find. I'm a big fan of pre-1970 C&W music.

Found a nice YSL sportcoat today, roughly a 40R. It was unvented so I passed. Found a very nice white Lanvin dinner coat with a gross stain, so passed. Also passed on what appeared to be a brand-new Thomas Pink oxford. The shirt was in great shape except the collar had a strange fray. Again, I passed. Very frustrating day!
