I saw a couple shirts in the Unique store by my work a few days ago that were very nice but not my size. I considered picking them up anyway because I remembered seeing the brand name mentioned here on SF but couldn't remember whether it was a good name or not. I thought it must've been a good name since I could tell they were quality garments but since they didn't fit, I passed. Came home checked it out and Borrelli was considered quality, so this morning I went back right before work, they were still there. The label says "Borrelli Hand made for Bergdorf Goodman"
Here's the Dunhill bag I picked up yesterday for 5 bucks.
Found three Huntsman shirts - all herringbone - two French Cuff and one with an interesting double-button cuff that I can't quite figure out -- is it meant to be worn with cufflinks if so desired? And why are two of the shirt labels the same but the other is different? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Very nice! The unusual cuff is, as you surmise, designed to allow for occasional use of cufflinks. It's not uncommon on lower end shirts, but I've never seen it n as high a quality shirt as this.
I can't believe people have found non-hideous ties in thrift stores. I just can't believe it.
Thanks for the info! I could be off on this, but wouldn't you have to have pretty large cufflinks to cover the buttons? Or else it might look funny with both cufflinks and buttons?
