Barneys had trouble this year fulfilling the amount of orders they got.

For those of you lurking on the forum during this Christmas, maybe one of you can help me. At an estate sale earlier this week, I purchased a tub full of jewelry and watches. Among the pile, I found this one. I am not holding my breath whatsoever as it is probably not authentic, but worth asking. Below are the pictures of the rolex... anyone who is knowledgeable of the brand please help me! The movement is a sweep and not a tick.. and the magnifier seems to be working well.

I've owned many Rolex watches when I was into watch collecting, this looks authentic
but the only way to know for sure is to have a reliable watchmaker remove the back
of the oyster and look at the movement. This is the only fool proof way to know.

Looks real but these days there are very high quality fakes. Take it to a watch shop which is authorized Rolex seller.

you can also remove the watch bracelet from the case with a pin
the model number will be on top or bottom and the serial number
will be on the opposite end.
