Good heavens last night was fantastic for track. Bolt was a monster. Richards-Ross finally ran a smart 400, too - I think I enjoyed that race more than the 100, actually.

synchronized swimming has somehow made its way onto my Olympic feed. I actually have never stopped to really watch this before because I just assumed that it was just too stupid to be watchable.

well, I was dead wrong. it is 1000x stupider than what I imagined. it is so stupid that I am ashamed to be human because it means that I'm of the same species as whoever created this abomination

I played in HS and a little in college and it was not terrifically uncommon to play a team that had a girl or two on it. We used to always joke about a few of them and call them "jungle woman" but it was usually because the refs let them slide on nail check and you'd come out of the game looking like you'd gone a few rounds with a big cat. But jesus that Italian chick was a monster.
