http://www1.rollingstone.com/hearitn...yer/bruce.html Hmm. Well, at least the re/mastering sounds pretty good. I have a boot of a 1974 Texas radio station performance/interview with the stripped down band. It's amazing, and it's fun to hear Bruce complaining that southern audiences don't seem to react with much enthusiasm during their shows. Have a listen, won't you?

C'mon, Bruce. Really?!?!?

Did not see this thread! I am not a (huge) BS fan, but have always liked Darkness. IIRC, three of the six discs a dvd deals (not sure what - live shows and documentary) - of the 3 audio discs, one is a 'remastering' of the original, and then a 2 disc set of songs written for the album but not used. They are hardly filler/throwaways - he wrote some ridiculous amount of material for this record - this is the top stuff that didn't make the cut, including a bunch of tunes he gave to other artists (Fire, Because the Night, Talk to Me).

Rube - You can just get the double CD of the 'new' unused songs. Picked it up for $13....
