Hi!

I have looked around online to see if you can tailor an outerwear coat, but have not come across much information. I was thinking of taking it to a tailor, but I don't want to waste a trip if it's not possible.

I have had a blazer tailored before, but this is just a regular coat. It fits fine in the shoulders and jacket length, but the problem is the sides are too big. So I just wanted to bring in the sides of the jacket.

I have attached some pictures of it:

It's just too big in the body, so again, the question is it possible to tailor an outerwear coat? I also am checking out if I can tailor it because I hate paying RETURN SHIPPING!!

Thanks for the reply! I appreciate it, I did take it in today to one place, and they gave me an estimate of $50. I don't know if it'll be worth doing, so I told them I'll think about it. Returning it though will suck too. I think returning will cost me a bit over $12 by usps.

The price of buying things on ebay...I got to take a hiatus on buying clothes stuff online.

Either way, thanks for responding! I walked in to the tailor with a little bit more confidence than I would have otherwise, haha.
