Generally speaking, I transition from medium blue/grey/brown SC's in the spring to light (airforce blue and up, very light grey, and beige/cream) shades in the summer, and back down again in early fall before hitting the darker shades for F/W. I feel this has an obvious and consistent logic to it.
That said, I'm considering a medium grey pure linen SC for summer, which is darker than my very light grey spring/early fall SC. I love the fabric, but am somewhat concerned it would seem out of place next to my lighter blues and tans in rotation on those blisteringly hot days.
Do any of you follow a similar logic when transitioning the seasons? I know people wear navy linen and the like during the summer, even darker brown linen, but that's never sat right with me. Any related thoughts w/r/t seasonal transitions welcome as well.
