Sorry, yes, it's an RLBL question, but a short one

I'm sure it will be bought as soon as I post this, but whatever.

I'm looking at an RLBL suit on B&S. It has a 34" pant waist measured. I usually wear a 32" waist. Is this workable on RLBL? Good tailor needed or even possible?

Thanks.

Are you a size 32 or a true 32? If you wear mostly american style/cut pants and they are labeled a 32, they most likely measure 33-34 at the waist.

Oh, and the suit I'm looking at has a "33" pant. Seller measured it at 34".

I'm still on the fence, even with bigbris's incredible inspiration of "Do et". I hope you didn't mean to say "Do nt".

I wear 32. I can fit into RLBL 31 (necessary to do so if buying 38R). Generally if you wear 32, 31-32 RLBL will fit you. 34 is really pushing it. Compare to getting a 35 to fit a 32 for another manufacturer.

Just called a tailor in Birmingham, AL that I found on ctda.com. I asked her the price on a recut and she said for 2" it is usually not necessary.

something that compentent tailors do regularly

I assume if they are part of the The Custom Tailors & Designers Association (CTDA), that they should be competent, but who knows.
