patagonia is supposed to be good. they use primaloft i think, really warm and light. also remember that it needs to be thin if layering it under something. i had the canada goose light down vest to layer under a coat and was too puffy.

^ yup exactly why I am not looking at 'real' vests.. too hard to care and too puffy to layer under coats & jackets

hooded version

stone island shadow: non insulated but still warm enough for cold fall(tried it on)

ok so i ended up getting the SISP. but im thinking of the arcteryx. would either put a liner or wear the sisp underneath.
the veilance has taped seams so it should be waterproof. its not gore-tex tho

down side is that id need to wait till january before they restock the small. worth waiting for or not?

Quote: This is just for a casual jacket, right? Shouldn't need Gore-Tex for that. I like the look of the hooded Arc'Teryx the best, nothing you like from Isaora? I know what Veilance goes for, don't think I'd drop that much for something so simple

That´s ok, but why not get something along those lines, but cooler, something like this

It´s just over 20000 euros, so you could probably get like two, in case one has to go to dryers... ´cause if you buy a fur coat that´s as expensive or more expensive than your car, you´ll wear it everyday
