This winter I'm looking for something as close as possible to these. I'd accept a shade or so darker if necessary. The article the pic is taken from doesn't identify these so I'm looking for some recommendations to get as close as possible. Thanks.

The one in the pic look like Church's because of the stitching in the shape of "D". But almost every established shoemaker does a plaintoe continuous vamp blucher. Alden Allen Edmonds Crockett Jones Trickers Santoni (as I found out in a recent buy/sell listing - look for shoe's ad) Florsheim here are current churchs:

The photos shoes are indeed Church's; saw them today. Do Church's have sales in the new year?

You're welcome.

Some more information:

- The prices are in British pounds (warning!). These prices in dollar would be perfect!
- The sale and the seconds are the year-round
- The available shoes and the sizes are changing all the time
- Loake has some nice and inexpensive shoes, too
- the sizes are british, which is diffrent to the US

For the sizes:

Why not go that little bit extra and look toward the C&J Grasmere Cordovan in burgundy? The Church's are delicious; for another forty quid or so you could get cordovan.

What are the advantages of cordovan? Would I notice?
