Guys,

I am looking to get a bespoke suit done (2-piece) and was wondering which tailor on the row would be the cheapest option?

Thanks!

There is no cheap option on the Row for bespoke...

Generally speaking bro, if you have to ask this question yo might consider looking elsewhere.

I'd also conjecture that nobody on the row wants to be that guy.

It depends on the fabric and what you want done. A two piece suit can have many variations, from pocket, cuff, lining, to shoulder padding, to all sorts of specifications. If you want value, HK is still the best place.

May I ask, do you want Savile Row just for the sake of saying you bought a suit from Savile Row? If so that´s pathetic.

Most likely Chester Barrie, but I don't know whether they still cut an individual pattern. I would bet that William Hunt is close to the lowest. If you call, any of them will gladly discuss pricing.

You're not wrong. Best option might be to find a good provincial tailor on recommendation if you want bespoke (rather than MTM) choose the best cloth you can afford, be nice to you tailor and show enthusiasm for what he does. Likely to achieve a better result than 'budget' 'Row.

Rather a silly question and I assume that all you actually want is the label which says 'Savile Row'. Customers on the Row don't ask the price or rather don't NEED to ask the price.

Don't bother - try to find yourself a tailor in the provinces who will actually make you a suit at a price that you will be comfortable with.

Isn't A&S substantially less expensive than the rest?

Spend a half a day reading threads on SF that are related to SR, and then decide if you want "the cheapest suit on the row".

If you are not opposed to "used" stuff ( some truly NWOT or like new ) there are some wonderful buys on the SF B & S sub forum, including some SR suits I think.

But do your homework and read a few threads.

Technically, A&S is no longer on Savile Row (and I believe that they are still more expensive than the tailors that I mentioned).
