Has anyone who commissioned from Kotaro extended the length of their jackets at all? His jacket seem fairly short, shorter or as short as most Neapolitan jackets, saw a few that look quite short especially on taller physiques with longer arms.

Honestly, it looks mostly a classical length (in a modern way) to me.

Maybe a little on the short side on this one.

And on himself.

You ever post about things you actually own and wear?

One does not need to own a garment to be able to say if it looks good.

I don't have anything from Corcos and haven't tried all the tailors you did, but, like everybody here, am entitled to express my opinion.

But the real question is why not place an order?

Maybe because he's not taking new customers...

There are hundred other options (probably more affordable), if you don't absolutely love that cut and style.

I'm based in Germany and, so far, have felt comfortable with what I found available, RTW and MTO, mostly tailored pieces from Cesare Attolini, Mauro Blasi, Stile Latino and Gabo.

I received a suit from Kotaro over the weekend, the second thing I’ve ordered from him, in dove grey Crispaire. Everything is just perfect. Going forward I think he’ll be the only tailor I use, at least primarily. I don’t think his jackets are short, at least in comparison to the Neapolitan tailors I’ve used. And compared to them, the chest is fuller, the buttoning point feels a bit lower, just more comfortable overall. The shoulders are unpadded, with just a little bit of extension, just a little bit constructed.

Everything just seems very unobtrusive, and comfortable, without being or looking unconstructed.
