I have a 5pm appointment with Kirk to have some pants that he made for me altered and to pick up some jeans. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you wanted to come up and see what he has to show. Otherwise, call or email him about an appointment.

I don't know everything that he is bringing. He did say that he had a number of brand new things to show that were a little less structured including a shirt/jacket, trousers and jeans. I would expect that he would have some jackets but I don't know about RTW shirts and accessories, you would have to contact him and ask.

I remember trying on Miller's Oath's sport coats when BG carried the brand. They were very stiff and structured. The shirts were very trim and had these extreme cutaway collars. It was certainly a very specific look/style. Actually, had not seen or heard of the brand since BG stopped carrying the the label a few years ago.

Sounds good. I'll contact him and see what's going on. Probably stop by right after work. Thanks for organizing it Gus!

Burritt Room is a fantastic spot: brick, dark furniture, piano...very noir and not pretentious at all. One of the top hotel bars in SF. Superb cocktails. Great choice, Gus.

Hope to see everyone there!

Thanks @sacafotos for confirming Burritt Room. I haven't been there in a while but I recall it also has an excellent bar menu in case anyone wants to stick around for dinner.

Thank you so much Gus! Very much looking forward to being in SF for the night and meeting up with whoever has a chance to stop by and give a bit more color to what we do and how we do it. I will absolutely have some of our newer things, including a very unstructured sportcoat which I think is perfect for California...as well as our more traditional sportcoats, suits, trouser and shirts (maybe even the odd tie and pocket square!).

I am staying upstairs at the Mystic Hotel by Charlie Palmer so please fee free to reach out to me for a Thursday afternoon or Friday morning appointment.

Really looking forward to it.

Kirk

I stayed there the last time I came up for a trunk show. Great drinks and food at the Burritt Room.

I stay there regularly - they will give good cocktail options.

Next Thursday.... SF Meetup at the Burritt Room, with special guest Kirk Miller of Miller's Oath. Meet us in the second floor bar area at 6pm for no-host drinks at one of San Francisco's great cocktail bars.

I'm looking forward to seeing Kirk's new deconstructed jacket. I was considering a Spanish Teba for an upcoming trip to Europe, but the sleeve lengths on most ready to wear models have been coming up short. So a MTM from Kirk might do the job. Seems like a nice business casual option as well.

I will be attending as well, with my wife.

Do I need to RSVP somewhere other than mentioning my attendance here?

Glad you and your wife can join us @pwc008. Your post here is all we need for our Meetup.

If you want a private appointment with Kirk at the Mystic Hotel in SF on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning then call their NYC store at 212-219-9965 or email him at [email protected] to schedule that.
