The owner of Cable Car Clothiers has kindly offered to host Styleforum members and their guests for appetizers, cocktails and fun this coming May 2nd for a Meetup. We will meet at Cable Car Clothiers from 6-8pm and then head out for a no-host dinner at a nearby establishment TBD.
Cable Car Clothiers is San Francisco's oldest haberdashery and one of the few authentic traditional menswear retailers remaining in the country. It is the perfect place to find a natural shoulder Southwick suit, select from any one of their hundreds of fine hats or find quality British men's grooming products and accessories.
Having moved to it's new location last fall, the store is now run by the founders grandson and our host, Jonathan Levin. Jon has added Nicky the Barber, a "period correct specialist" who can give you that authentic Deco-era 30's style hair cut or straight razor shave.
Come on out and join us. Feel free to invite friends and/or bring a date for the evening. Jon has some special things planned for us.
It helps to manage these Meetups if you can RSVP in this thread if you will be joining us for the reception and/or dinner. Thanks!
Date : Thursday May 2
Time: 6pm for drinks, 8pm for a no-host dinner at The Irish Bank, 10 Mark Lane
Location: Cable Car Clothiers 110 Sutter Street, San Francisco http://www.cablecarclothiers.com/
