I've had these sitting in my closet for years and years. they have some wear, but there's a ton of life left in them for whoever wants to wear them. this lot is obviously not available anymore and they have the arcuates intact - since made illegal when sold in the u.s.
They're a Mid Rise Straight Leg Fit. Made from 17oz Samurai Original Japanese selvage "Zero" denim. 100% Cotton. Made In Japan. The selvage line contains intertwining strands of Red and Silver lamé which symbolize the bleeding passion of the samurai's soul and the gleam of the razor sharp sword which he possesses.
Front pocket bags have an original Jacquard pattern interwoven with thin Beige threads which reads "Shogyo Mujo", a basic belief principle that all things of this world are transient and impermanent; also translated as "Everything is transient and always changing" or "All Things Change".
The rivets are made of copper with the underside of the front rivets reading "Samurai" while the underside of the back rivets read "Shogyo Mujo".
these have been soaked a handful of times so all the shrinkage is out of them. ready to wear.
measurements are as follows:
waist: 17.5"
inseam: 32.5"
leg opening: 9"
back rise: 15"
i lost a little weight otherwise i wouldn't consider getting rid of them. i'd also consider trades for denim of similar quality in size 34 or other interesting workwear-type stuff.
