What do you guys think of these? I already have a pair of Gucci aviators, but these are a little different.

Cool, I wasn't sure. It's always good to get a few second opinions, especially on a bigger ticket item. I usually don't shell out this kind of $ for shades but these look pretty classic and are made very well. Do you guys have any idea who makes these for Ralph Lauren?

Don't like the mirror coating. I wouldn't pay the RL premium for aviators. I have two pairs- one from American Optical and the other form Randolph Engineering. They are the real deal.

^ That would be my issue as well. If you can grab them at a good (well below RLPL retail price), however, then go for it.

They should be Persol. I have two pairs of RLPL specs and both are Persol.

... Although these are the least Persol looking RLPL's I've seen. Are they made in Italy.
