I'm probably going to pick up the Connaught in chestnut burnished calf... I wear a 9D on 5-last Allen Edmonds shoes, so I should be going with a UK 8E?

Purchased a pair of Finsbury's size 9F from Robert Old. Very pleased, beauitful pair of shoes.

(Note: The bit of black at the heel was put there by me, just adds a little snugness)

I contacted C&J (the UK website) last night about the possibility of getting some new silver buckles for my Monktons. (the current ones are gold) They messaged me back this morning saying they have been ordered from the factory and are on the way to their shop. They said that as soon as they receive them they will ship them to me.

I must say, I am very impressed with how quickly they helped me! I know people have had problems in the past, but it sounds like they are doing me a favour and sending them for free :)

Even before I requested the buckles I was a big fan of C&J so maybe I am biased, but I will be a customer for life!

^ How does the 363 (Lonsdale) compare to other C&J lasts, i.e. 337?

to be honest, I'm not sure. That said, I bought these at the C&J store in Paris, and the non-handgrade ones of a similar style (Hallam from memory) were just a tiny bit too small, so perhaps these wear a little larger? I'm sure others will have a more accurate answer though.

My bad, I should have been more clear: I was curious how the 363 visually compares to, say, the 337. Would you mind posting a straight overhead shot (and specifying what size yours are)?

I'll try and remember to take a photo tonight - I don't have them on today. They're a UK8.5
