Hi all! Finally got sized in AE and excited to make my first online secondhand purchase. Can you all verify the quality of these AE Boulevards? They look great to me, except there seems to be a crease on the toe which bothers me a bit. Thanks!

I think that’s just a shadow, not a stain.
they look fine. Little sole wear. I see the toe cap crease but it’s pretty minor. Enjoy!

Thank you both for the feedback! I ordered them, but unfortunately there's a defect on the toe that wasn't disclosed in the original photos. Is this worth sending them back over?

On the one hand, it's not likely to be noticed/seen when the shoes are being worn. On the other hand, it's definitely a flaw. If it's going to bother you knowing it's there, I'd send it back. If it's not going to bother you and you got a good deal on them, keep them.

You could always ask a cobbler; good ones are like auto body repair shops, they do magic. But it’s not very noticeable.

Wear them. They're fine. Add some polish over the mark and you'll forget it's even there. After wearing them for a while, you'll have other nicks on the shoes and completely forget about the first one.
