@jerrybrown & spoo.

I succumb to peer pressure once again! I've decided to keep it!

My luck being up late that night cost me $1900:censored:

Do you guys wear the Daltons true to size or sized up a half?

I bought a pair ages ago (true to size) and they're tight, esp in the heel.

I haven;t really broken them in yet, but I'm hoping they loosen up.

This isn't the buying and selling thread:puzzled:

Eh, I think its kind of relevant considering people have been asking for X and Y if sizes didn't work out from the sale. He's got great prices on that thread. I wish I had the money to spring for the Marlow Pennys.

I wear mine (Darlton/Marlow Wingtips) TTS and they fit perfect. Not snug at all

The Darlton wingtips are on a tricky last. For me they're simultaneously a little narrow at the toe, full at the heel and a touch voluminous overall. I went TTS but, even after a good bit of break-in, I still have to choose my socks carefully. The fit is not ideal for me, but I think I made the right choice. Though I can see how someone else would have the exact opposite experience.

thanks for the replies.

I was actually wondering about the pennies though (forgot they're both darltons) , anyone have experience with those?

Pennies a half size bigger than wingtip? i.e. a 10 penny fits about the same as a 9.5 wingtip or if you take a 10 penny you'd take a 10.5 wingtip. Sounds like the former, but i normally size down with pennys. Anyhow, I have a pair of 8.5 marlow pennys that fit great and i'm trying to figure out which size wingtip to get
